    Heres a nice little trick!

Yeah, it'll now be a normal weekend and a lot of swearing.

    Heres a nice little trick!

To be honest, unless I've forgotten something I can pick up at the local car parts store (which really isn't that local), I'll have to order it for delivery anyway. Thankfully I've now bought a cheap run-around so can cope without the van if I get stuck mid-way through and have to wait for bits.

    Heres a nice little trick!

From reading the above, I think I might give it a go on the next long weekend so I don't have to rush it. Cheers all.

    Heres a nice little trick!

Interesting idea thanks. I'm currently debating if I'm competent enough to do my own timing belt, or spend money and take it to the garage.

    Wide angle prop

New propshaft was the first job I ever did on my Defender, for that matter, I'd never done any car maintenance before. Watched a couple of videos on You Tube ( ) and just did it. Only thing I'd do differently, is make sure all the nipples are greased up suitably before starting. Just one less...

Recommended Land Rover Garage Norfolk / Cambridgeshire?

Not sure if questions and recommendations for businesses are allowed on here, so please remove if needed. I live on the Norfolk/Cambrigeshire border and own a '92 Defender. Having spent years driving shiny new(ish) cars and being Relatively new to Land Rover ownership, I'm unsure what's...

Paranoid about noises? Arnie sounds different every time I drive him..

Being a relatively new Defender owner (nine months), I constantly seem to hear new and varied sounds. Can be worrying if you're not overly mechanically minded, like me.
