    EAS leak fix

the stuff does come undone again its a bit like loctite, the previous owner has already done the cut and refit trick with the pipework to the point that there's no free play, so when I fit new bags I'll replace the pipes aswell, but this works as a semi permenant temporary fix

    EAS leak fix

I noticed a small hiss from the connections on the eas valves under the bonnet, I fiddled around with them and managed to reduce the leak but not cure it, I then had a brainwave... I completely vented the system, let all the air out, then I used a product called captain toleys creeping crack...

    EAS Compressor...

That is a very good idea... i might do just that, plus then if one fails, the other is capable of doing the job on its own

    19" wheels

my mounts are way over engineered, the chassis will snap before they give way, i'm sure you could pick the car up with a crane on the steering guard alone, but if a jobs worth doing eh! I'm so impressed with this combination of wheels and tyres i'm getting a set tomorrow (the set pictured i...

    EAS Compressor...

Basically i think mine is on its last legs, I'm thinking of just overhauling the whole system, changing the bags which look very tired, possibly for the genIII arnotts, i can't decide, but anyway, I'm looking at compressor options, and wondering if anyone has got rid of the standard compressor...

    Whats your ride hights?

Which arnotts have you fitted? the genII or the genIII? i need new bags but i can't decide what to do, i've been amazed how well the dunlops that i have on now perform but am very tempted to go the arnott route... anyway, sorry to sortof change the subject! I've never measured mine, i'll go and...

    19" wheels

gimme a ring tomorrow mate and we'll sort somut out, we'll have to sort out you collecting or meeting somewhere coz postage on this stuff would be phenominal as they weigh a ton! Once I know which bits you want making and what from (stainless, ally, or steel, and if you want it powder coating...

    19" wheels

I'd prefer proper money! Should be able to do stainless options aswell, the side steps/tree sliders are made of box section with safe working load of 3500kg so should be fine for jacking the car on

    19" wheels

they sit very nicely don't they! I'm well impressed, the shims are definately necessary, and thank gawd can finally get rid of those bloody awful P38 nuts, the tyres really are fantastic, if anyone is interested in my steering guard, or tree sliders, I've just made a diff guard aswell, let me...

    19" wheels

ABSOLUTELY fantastic they are, was outperforming modified 110s and 90s all day, they ate up everything the course, which was quite demanding, threw at them, mud, rocks, ruts, water, everything they just dealt with it, i didn't feel them even hint at slipping all day long, on the road they start...

    General Grabbers

This is very interesting... I was planning to fit AT2's to my 18 inch rims but then a mate lent me his set of 19" rangie sport alloys fitted with Goodyear MT/R tyres for an offroad weekend at bruntingthorpe, and there was a 90 there with AT2's fitted and he couldn't get round where my P38 just...

    19" wheels

Right, got them on, 19" range rover sport allys with 255 55 19 goodyear mt/r boots on, with the shims and the different nuts went on a treat, the tyres look good, when the eas is fully down on its stoppers the tyres do touch the arches at the back, but seems fine, I'll go and have a play...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Atleast no-one was hurt? Today I made a diff guard from the leftover 8mm plate, made some heavy duty lamp stays to stop the spotlamps quivering as much, I'll make another diff guard tomorrow, I'm sooo bored sat at home just making stuff!

What have you done to your Landie today.

Made a steering guard for the p38 today from some 8mm steel I had lying around, not really sure why, just bored and because I could! And it'll protect its soft dangly bits, and it looks good, I'm well chuffed with it I'll maybe even go to the effort of getting a photo on here, might make some...
