    Sunroof draining tubes

are they the hose pipe diameter tubes that go down the A pillars and exit into the wing infront of the doors? Just wondering coz these two black one way flap valve type things were on the floor next to my rangie after some deep water, I'm thinking this is what they're off of? sorry to go off...

    Seized Clutch

our series three had stood outside for 12 years uncovered and with some jump leads started first time on 12yr old petrol and ran fine, the clutch was seized though, we left it running for about 20 minutes and it came free with the heat, but otherwise I hear the trick is to put it in low box and...

    P38 Winch Mount

I'll pop over and ask him to print it out again, he said its no longer available but worth ringing round as its the kindof thing they'd have sat on the shelf gathering dust in the odd dealership, but its over a grand list price, the dealers is about four villages away so I'll have to wait til...

how deep can my p38 go safely?

A bit of balls initially to form a bow wave, then back off a bit and let the wave run ahead a little bit so your in the trough behind the wave peak, then match its speed and keep with it, the gap between you and the wave also gives you enough room that when you get to the other side you have...

how deep can my p38 go safely?

I cut a sheet of 3mm plastic to fit behind my radiator and headlamps, and made a bracket to lift the k&n cone filter on my 4.0 as high as I could, so it was touching the underside of the bonnet, Vaseline on the connectors I could get to, air bags and stuff, then was driving the off road test...

    bit of help...

I spoke to him about top hats coz that was my first thought he said in theory yes they work but in practice he wouldn't put his name to a repair with top hats. Seems a bit of a bodge? I duno I will save and put the best I can in it, in the meantime I've got to get used to 1950s comfort!

    bit of help...

Yes I agree, if it wasn't in such good order in every other respect then I'd probably do just that, but as it is, and taking into account what I paid for it so far its worth me doing it, and I intend to keep it, am very impressed with it

    bit of help...

I've got a mate that specialises in rover V8 lumps for motorsport and allsorts, he's got some brand new 4.6's, been thinking about that but if I put a second hand lump in then I don't know what nick its in, he reckons I could strip it and repair/rebuild it for £1500-2000, and his brand new...

would it run right ? Wouldn't the computer have a fit? It'd sound good though if it did run! It'd probably drink more wouldn't it aswell? They sound nice enough with a normal exhaust on? My back box gets such a bashing off road I'm thinking of taking that off, maybe the centre box aswell, but...

The thing was designed to work and work well with eas, so why downgrade to coils? Why not fix the fault rather than create more problems just to fit coils?
