got me disco axle fitted to the rear of me 90 along with new springs, shocks, A frame ball and calipers. ready to start on the front axle now!!!

ive just about finished putting a disco axle on my 90, just waiting for a pair of new calipers to come through the post. piece of **** to swap them over.

started fitting me new springs on me 90 today. wernt sure if there was a top or bootom to them, so phoned the comp i got them off. they said "its debatable, as to a top or bottom of the spring" but reconed to fit them so the tighter coils of the spring were at the bottom. so that how...

disco 1 and disco 2. are the rear brake pads the same design (profile)?? is the only differance the sensor?

got it sorted thanks. "leading edge" what leading edge, before i put the shoes in i took a file to them on the edge. they were still catching on this, so i took a angle grinder to them, sorted and working a treat now. if only the old shoes would of lasted another week!!! im putting a disco...

shoes are exactley the same pattern, there was a bit of a lip but mainly rust, so that went we a bit of a file and emery. and the leading edges of the shoes were taken off we a file.

put a new set of rear brake shoes on me 90 today, only prob is there rubbing like fook! there the same profile as the old ones and the adjuster snails are set on the lowest setting. any ideas what the prob might be??

what other seat do folks have in theres? noticed wilt landymans seats in a pic, what they out of ? ive got a set of omp seats in mine, but as im getting a tad older its getting a pain to get in and out, so was thinking of replacing we summat that aint got such high sides.

how would a tapping block turn? it might when one bolt is sheared off, but would only turn so far before it hits the side of chassis
