As long as the county ones are also from a series i should think they should as the basic vehicle is the same the only differences are the trim levels Graham

try removing the filter and looking what the face of the filter mounting is like e.g pitted if it looks ok it could have small fracture not always visable to the eye. they are only cheap so it might be worth replacing it graham

Deffenatly wouldn't be scrapping it, the welding shouldn't be too hard as most parts on the chassis are easily accesable with a ramp. If not a decent welding shop should be able to for decent price. Looked after these vehicles will run for ever so its always worth spending a bit on them as long...

These are smokey engines, especially when cold but if its excessive you could be looking something as simple as valve stem oil seals leaking or worst case at worn/or broken piston rings. not a major job to do if you get a haynes manual. These are usually a good strong engine so i wouldn't worry...

Looking at the way it mounts probabily off a range rover classic!!?? might be worth a call to landrover and see if they can cross referance the number. I know its deffenatly not off a 90/110 it would be too high
