I would assume the controller looks for a certain temp range from memory its a bit better than just a Thermal strip like a Kettle But I also read it just switches it to earth but I dont think this is the case as it would stop the alarm if the wire was cut?

Yes all the oil is in the correct place, drives fine Prindle flashes but has done for the last 3 years

I think I did? I think its the plug on the side of the Rad mount between the Power steering res. Usually temp sensor controllers look for a resistance so if it goes open circuit it knows the sensor is faulty

May kit came with the car but the last owner told me he was advised to use ford roof lining stuff as it was more robust, outs isn't perfect but for a first attempt I am happy, cheaper stuff might not be as good or as easy to fit
