    I know but once I trace it back to the multi pin in the side of the boot I just cant get it to work? I think I will have to fit a new cable and thread it along side the existing one

    Broke in to my boot after the button thing failed, my head hurts as I am trying to figure out the wiring sop I can fit another button in the boot so if one fails I can still get in. Job for another day

    Its looking like I need rear discs and callipers, is it much of a job? Are the callipers on Banjo bolts? will I need new calliper mounting bolts as the Disco ones i did had corroded away?

    This might sound daft but have you driven one? I would also have a drive of a 300TDI Disco as they are much better value, but It depends on what you want. As most people have said you really need to do your homework as so many sheds about. I also agree on price some people just aren't bothered...

    I bought mine as it was cheap just had a cam belt and clutch diesel £600, ran it for 6 years put 70000 mile on it had a few sets of tyres didn't even service it sold it for £400, cant fault it well apart from the lack of street cred!:)

    Thats them, well jus been out and tried the new well used bolts in my spare, it looks like I have bought the correct ones but my wrong bolts have caused a slight burr on the edge of the hole stopping them going in, I will take each one off and clean them up well I am hoping winchboy will do it...

    Yes I have them, It came with the L322 wheels on, but with ate P38 wheels in the boot with a brand new set of aggressive tyres on for an extra £200 so a No brainer 6 months on I fitted the P38 wheels using the L322 nuts, mot man pointed it out, going to try and look again today
