Thanks a lot, I'll be able to get under and have a look at the weekend, I'm sure this will all make sense when I can actually see what your talking about. Try to get some rest cos I'll be back

Got it! So on the odd occasion when I've been stuck in mud and I've had one wheel spinning, and I've tried to engage the diff lock but still ended up with the one wheel spinning, this confirms that the diff lock isn't working. Why didn't I join this forum years ago??

Thanks for the reply marjon. I did get it over to the left and it feels like it's engaging but obviously isn't.

Thanks, I'm getting my head round it a little bit now. I've got a new hub casing coming tomorrow( sorry if that's not what it's called) so hopefully that will put me back where I started. Is fixing the diff lock a major job? Thanks for the reply!

Hi knappster, Thanks for the welcome. When I get her back I'll try and post a pic. I'd try and work my angles but to be honest she's rough all round! Cheers Paul

Thanks for the reply shippers! I have a feeling that trying to explain how to post pics maybe as challenging as trying to explain to me what's going on with my truck.

So my 110 ended up on the back of a recovery truck yesterday. Driving along and suddenly the small transfer gear lever jumps into neutral. No problem I thought, just pop it back in and all will be ok. Not So! The lever is engaging the box and the front prop is turning! Also the splined shaft...

    Intro time!

Hi all, I've owned my 1986 110 for about 13 years. It's been a journey! I've snooped around the forums on and off, usually when I've had a problem, and the wealth of knowledge is invaluable. As per most newbies I'll be looking for the correct place to post my first question. My mechanical know...
