    Yes, did indeed getting in the 11 volt range, dropping to about 10.18 after 6-8 cranks

    Im really starting to hate this car! New fuel pump fitted, still not starting, cranking away, and cranking quickly, still no codes on hawkeye, m and s lights flashing when cranking too Could it be a fault with the ignition key switch? Any ideas?

    Thanks Sierafery, Again! New crank sensor didnt help, so i have a good one here as a spare for anyone who needs it. No codes on Hawkeye, so i assume its a fuelling issue, im going to drop off the filter and crank her, i assume i should see a 'gush' of fuel, as opposed to a 'flow'? Gordon

    No LEDS on dash, tried priming but no avail, fuel pump whirring away, although when cranking, the green m and s lights are lit, ive never noticed that before, as shes usually an instant starter cheers

    Go for Genuine engine mounts, i had FOUR pattern ones fail, spent hours and hours chasing vibrations that were caused by new faulty pattern mounts

    I had seals go after after a few months, i used pattern one instead of genuine, moron!" I had grey smoke, an oil dribble coming from the front seal, and it took an extra couple of turns to get her started, i reckon i was getting a back blow of pressure from the combustion chambers or something...

    Be a hell of a racket, i drove a car a couple of miles years ago with no exhaust or manifold, loads of odd noises, but no damage, apart from deafness!! No ill effects at all Wear muffs!

    Hi All 2001 D2 Ace, air etc td5 for a few days, my wipers/stereo/ heated seats / and a few other things didnt become 'live' when starting, but did when switching on. A few starts and stops, and they worked ok None of the above now work at all when running, but do work when switched on...

    Hi Sierrafery, Thanks for your help on the wastegate thread. I got it sorted in the end. Turned out it was the injector seals, must have been causing some sort of blow back through the engine. I had replaced them about 6 months ago, but didnt use genuine parts, Britpart failed again Anyway...

    Fitted an OE injector harness just now, sad to report it made no difference I split the grey harness connection that sits beside the ecu, it was also full of oil, gave it a clean with break cleaner too cheers

    Had a look at the connector, Its certainly not wet, but there is an oil like dryish residue there, I'll fit a new OE harness later today, so at least that will rule that out cheers

    Did that 6- 8 weeks ago, Not OE, although i might go OE soon Was about 40 quid from and independent, the one before that was an ebay special, lasted no time at all, the very plastic sheath had melted Perhaps an OE is an idea
