since we are on the topic of this 1.222 ratio transfer box, i'm also considering the upgrade kit on my 2002 Td5. Was told that i need to drop the entire gear box along with the transfer box to change the gears in it, true? can the transfer box just be dropped without taking off the main gear box?

as far as i know the doors of the SIII and 90 are interchangable. however the door catch might be different. do check that out. if not just buy the catch. door seals are the same, still mounted on the frame.
