Hi all, I’m so glad my 90 has snap bolts!!! Just about everyone I tried to undo broke! So tub all unbolted, wings, bonnet, doors, roof, sides, windscreen, seats & seatbox removed So the tear down & rebuild begins

On my old disco1 I had same thing, thermostat housing bolt popped out, waited for it cool completely and used Araldite as temporary fix for 10 years with no problems. I do miss that tdi sometimes

After topping up a dodgy clutch pedal with good old dot 4 for about a month, finally the slave gave up & spilled it's guts on the drive!! Sourced a borg & beck slave, changed, bled and wow, that's what the pedal really feels like Got a master too, so just waiting for that to pop!

Sorry for late reply was on holiday but it was snapped up by one of the locals near me.

I would have a look underneath to see where the leak is coming from first, top up the fluid, pump the pedal until you get a bit of pedal and use the good old fashioned handbrake, but then again I used to banger race!

Hi there, I have just read this post and you state that the defender turbo manifold won't fit a discovery lump, can I ask why?

Many thanks, have a new cam belt waiting and water pump & gasket plus oil seals as I'm taking the front cover off.

I will check these out, I do have a spare engine to get rebuilt if necessary, just thought a recon would be bolt in & go
