Just bought enough EP90 to do front and rear diffs .... ;)

Latest news - have removed the diff cover, to find no apparent signs of damage. Jacked the wheel and spun it all round and everything seems in one piece, so just need a new cover. Paddock seem cheapest - how express is their express service? (or suggestions for anywhere else that can get a cover...

Cheers for the replies gents. Oil was last done by the garage I boughtit from, october time (3500ish miles back). Pet theory is this - the oil plug might have gone in too far when replaced after I checked the oil level, then cuahgt, been dragged in and spat out again - the RH hole appears...

Only vehicle for me too - does me for a 35mph round trip commute and fishing and paintballing trips. Always too resented spending money on other cars, as they're all headed for scrap eventually, whereas I intend to keep the 110 for a LONG time!

I put some old foam camping mat under the foot mats, which helped a little, then solved the engine noise issue by fitting a bloody great speaker box in the rear........

I'm looking at fitting a steering guard onto my 110. She's only really used for gentle greenlaning and driving rough tracks when camping and fishing. Couple of quick questions: 1 Is this an appropriate form of protection for her - or would other items such as diff fuards be best bought first...
