    ignore thread please

I'm intrigued now, I don't want to ignore it.

    Freelander 2 HEVAC issues

Interesting. Have you checked every fuse? Maybe there's a power supply issue, effecting the HVAC ECM and mirror power?

    Freelander 2 HEVAC issues

Thanks. Wow, that's is a lot of fault codes. I suspect it has had a second hand HVAC control unit, which is incompatible with the heating assembly fitted. That's just a guess though. There is a full list of LR codes on here, with the official LR fault descriptions. I'll dig it out.

What have you done to your Freelander today

For the record, jam goes on first. ;)

    Freelander 2 HEVAC issues

Can you open the PDF and post it as an image. I'm not in the habit of downloading PDFs from unknown sources.

You might find the The bushes aren't in the correct orientation, which means the arms will move more than they should under braking loads.

Freelander 1 Andyfreelandy's get together, North Devon, September 13th

I'd like to pop in to say hi, but it's unlikely I'll be staying overnight.

Have you bought a pint of larger in a pub recently? A pint of Coors or other watery larger is now over £6 in most places.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Korev rebranded about 5 years ago now. I must admit I preferred the original branding with the white cross, but at least the flavour didn't change. It's available in our local M&S food court for £2.40 for the 500ml bottle.

Doesn't help my blood sugar level though. Apparently I've got to swap my favourite tipple of Korev over to wine, as that's better for me.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Sadly I'm not allowed Korev at moment, under doctors orders. Apparently I've got to loose 15kg too, which is quite difficult when you like food. Free labour is lovely though, although I'll feel guilty. Once I've got all the jobs around the house done, I'll have some time to get the long term...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Nice. That's exactly how I'd have made it look. I'm trying to convince the wife to let me turn a FL2 into an EV, but she says I've too many unfinished projects to start another.

What have you done to your Freelander today

How does that even happen. The car under the FL2 must have been upside-down, or it would have been pushed sideways, and the FL2 would have more damage on the back.

Disco 4 (LR4) Will the Discovery 4 achieve classic status?

Well I stand corrected. There is a D3 local to me that I've seen which is converted to electric. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone with me, so I couldn't take any pictures, and the owner wasn't about either. I did have a quick look underneath though, and spotted a battery pack where the fuel...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Secure lockbox

Or keep it under the boot floor, around the spare wheel. If you make sure you double lock the car every time, the only way in is through a broken window, and accessing the under boot floor without the rear hatch open is basically impossible without cutting tools.

Cruise control freelander 1 manual gearbox

The Freelander CC must have the TCM from the auto box, as that is what controls the engine speed. The CC module is what is putting the CC light on, but it can't control the engine without the automatic gearbox module fitted. It works differently to the Rover 75 system, as the R75 uses the CAN...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Tow ball

It's just the ball that's missing. That can be bought anywhere that sells tow bars or towing accessories, but get the bolts too. It's probably been removed to save shin pain, as they're perfectly positioned to give a right old knock on the shin bone. I know from experience.

Freelander 2002 TD4 Automatic Transmission Control Module issues

Mine was doing the same thing, jumping out of 4th. It wasn't actually jumping out of gear, as auto boxes are constant mesh boxes, but loss of drive means a clutch is slipping. It's not the TCM, it's likely a physical issue in the box, like it was on mine. The reason you have F4 is the TCM you...

Tyre Choice Thread ... another one! Same old questions, sorry ...

I did have 225/60/17 on my TD4 SE, but would have fitted 225/65/17 Geolanders if the immaculate Sport 18s hadn't come up.

    Freelander 1 petrol fuel pump

I've given valid advice on 2 threads, yet there's been no acknowledgement that you've even read those responses. Simply asking the same question in different ways many times isn't going to help, it's going to make getting sensible answers difficult to find. People offer free help, but if you're...
