I used to run my fronts at 33 and the rears at 34. I'd not go more than that though, as it had a tendency to understeer when I tried 35 on the front.

My oil cooler failed, filled the coolant with engine oil. That definitely floated on the coolant though. Maybe give it another flush?

It'll be a split boost hoses as suggested above. Check the short hose below the throttle body, which is a common failure point on these.

Also where it is in the country makes a difference to the value, and the time of year it's up for sale. Freelanders tend to get more money in winter, and less in summer.

That's something different to the normal 2k misfire. I'd suggest injectors, or maybe a corroded rail sensor.

I reckon it was something to do with the crankcase vent causing contamination of the intake air. I didn't check for this, and sold the vehicle when the gearbox failed and the FL2 came along.

To be honest, if the thread is anything more than slightly damage for the first couple of threads, I'd scrap the VCU. They're plentiful and pretty cheap now.

I doubt you'll find the actual circuit diagram for the module, LR don't show it. You'll be working blind to fix it, but if you break the circuit into sections, and test the components in each section, you might get lucky. Presumably you've checked all the fuses in the vehicle before condemning...

It's just a switch, so doesn't matter one bit. The switch joins the 2 wires together when the HDC is activated
