Cant see why rubbing alcohol wouldnt work (or maybe white spirit) to clean it all off - any good degreaser should work.

Thats an earth issue if going straight to -128 degrees.

A big issue i can imagine will be if anything is sucked in the intake thatll be the end of your engine. Lack of exhaust probably less of a problem although fumes into the cabin will be an issue.

I think that is normal isnt it? On more modern cars the lamp comes on with ignition on and will then go out. Could be wrong mind.
