I would imagine all the bits are available for the mechanical side of the change. The diesel came with a manual box so all bits to take the R380 in the P38 are available. Not sure how much of an electrical/electronic nightmare it maybe. But I would have to say very doable with patience and time...

Personally I have not understood this. The engine immobilisation is a function of mismatched signals from fob/latch to BECM and ECU. I understand the switching off of the immobiliser function just stops the alarm going off. Switching the EKA off has never made sense to me, as it’s a get out...

Do both doors only have the 2 wires? Where are your switches? You could check behind them and work out if they are both on the same 12v supply or seperate. If they are in the doors then you will/should have 12v and earth through those wires with ignition on. With 2 wires you will not find a 12v...
