Personally I think that if your happy that the oil is of a high quality the particular brand isn't especially important for a 20+ year old Landy. For example I buy Valtra oils from my local agricultural engineering place and have been very happy with them.

Double check that the bulbs supplied are 12V bulbs. If your lamps were supplied with 24V bulbs then you will get just a very dim glow when connected to a 12V system. I know this as mine were originally supplied with 24V bulbs (not by choice). Changed to 12V and away I went.

Not that I have ever seen. Most people fit a lift kit to increased their articulation off-road, something which ARB's have always worked against by design. Depending on your particular concerns you might consider removing the lift kit as basically your not going to be making any valuable use of it.

Looks a very interesting project, would make a nice and unique vehicle with the different engine, the series doors etc. Personally I wouldn't lift it though its your canvas and I guess it depends what you want to use it for :)

I fitted SS bolts/washers/nylonic nuts. I'm not sure what kind of aluminium/steel reaction there can be with SS but all good so far.
