    P38 cutting out!

Not disputing the excellent Datatek, but I had that door as open (when not), no noise on indicators and lights permanently on. Followed advice on here about disconnect battery, wait ten minutes, reconnect and reset all windows/sun roof and it all went away. Think of it like resetting a PC...

    Rear Diff, Viscous Coupling HELP

Datatek, garage are telling me rear diff is definitely knackered but suspect the VC's caused it. The AA man jacked the front up and could move the wheels, just. If not the VC, then would the transfer box chain cause it? Or is some other problem lurking out there? Thanks in advance

Looking on Ashcroft's site again, I have the Borg-Warner transfer box, I think, so they just need to remove the transfer box, dismantle, remove chain, refit new chain and reverse procedure...

Thanks wammers, so is it safe to say that on my manual it would be impossible to hold onto higher gears for longer without sacrificing more fuel hence countering out any fuel efficieny? Mind you, if it stayed the same efficieny but with more power i would be out to get one right now! One...

    Too good to be true?

Hi Terry Since September 2009 the account has been active, only six transactions are sales on his behalf including a 1998 LR 90. The rest are his purchases. Motor looks all right just shame he doesn't know a straight 6 from a v6  Shame Adam

    best range rover buy

Something else to consider, i greatly prefer manual gearboxes but that makes them a lot harder to find as 1000 auto to 1 manual

Datatek and j the range Thanks for that, but no corrosion visible on contacts, regarding the pocket thing, my Key 1 (before I lost it in a field) lived in my pocket for just over a year and never needed to change batteries just the rubber button mounts. Old batteries might be an idea, I will...
