    once the money starts coming in now christmas i was going to start going through the whole car and replacing stuff that usually fails, starting with the EAS. i dont like faults that have to wait for parts, so compressor, block and seals are where im starting.

    hey kernowdragon, what parts do you get in a rebulid kit, and how long does it take, is it an all day job, or just a few hours. i keep ketting a "RR Valve Stuck Closed" error so i think its about time to strip it.

    naaa, the dohnut is using m1 for his setting, but using the number 2 keys. Simple, either set your seat positions in M2 or use your number one keys. All found in the handbook

    its about 120 PSI ish. best way to test the compressor is leave the car running with a door open, it should stop after a few minutes when the tank is full.

    it should raise to halfway (ish) and stay there. if your temp is dropping when moving i'd guess your stat it staying open alittle, forcing coolent throught the radiator. get that sucker out and changed. tis only a few quid

    god i remember that stuff. drinking flakes of gold, in a god awfull flavored liquid! yummy....NOT speaking of antifreeze, i dont think my system is dosed, if it is its only half done as i doubt it was done when the waterpump was changed. is it ok to use any antifreeze in the p38?
