OK engine oil it is then for the moment till I can get some MTF thanks for the info boy's the last thing I want is a bugerd gearbox as I have only just put her back on the road.

So I would ignore what he is saying and go some where they know what they are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Because damage is expensive to repair. For the price of piece of mind search for a better MOT station.

The guy who has tested my vehicles for years does not even put selectable 2/4 wheal drive vehicles (Series landies, Toyota Hi-Lux's ETC) on his 2 roller road he does all of them with a brake decelerometer so there is no chance of damaging any off them also its a pain in the arse to keep taking...

Surly if you noted down the dimensions and stud configurations you may be able to find one that fits from a different engine or at least one that could give you a good pattern to work from. Just a thought as I have got nothing better to do whilst off sick (That's life I suppose LOL!!!!!!!!!!)

:D:DDid this on my 4.6 as a quick fix to pass the MOT as it was sucking in air through the many holes throwing out the lambda readings, welded in a piece of straight pipe sounds lovely and passed the MOT without a problem.:cool::cool:

What readings are out to fail it ? If the HC readings are within in limits as-well as CO reading and only the lamda reading is out then the exhaust is sucking in air somewhere throwing out the last reading. That's what happened with mine my centre box was full of hole's sucking in air so...
