Many thanks @Nodge68 Well that's a shame. I was hoping to bag a destroyed engine DS and have some fun with it! I know engines aren't cheap but is there really no way around this? Is it because a new gearbox, wiring loom and other things will be needed? What sort of prices are we talking?

Hi Steve in case you haven't had a reply your Discovery Sport as long as its a 15 plate or less i.e a 14 plate or 64 plate with a 2.2 Litre engine it will have a timing belt. Interval is 7 years or 60,000 miles. If, however it's a 2.0 litre with an ingenium engine it has a timing chain. You...
