P38 - "sunroof not set" warning?

That's true, it does.. It should go from closed, to either full tilt or fully reclined back in one move. It wouldn't go from open on tilt to closed & reclined in one though. I think he's saying it stops before it's fully closed

P38 - "sunroof not set" warning?

Have you got the original manual key that opens it?? My guess is that if you prise open the courtesy light console in the middle, you will see the manual open/close cog where the " T " manual key fits.. This allows you to set the sunroof in it's exact position.. I'm assuming theres nothing...

P38 DSE leaking diesel + HEVAC fault

True.. It has a few dull branch marks on it that may come out with t-cut.. But I haven't bothered, I'll run her into the ground (hopefully a couple of years) then get a newer one.

    Should I take the plunge??

Great car Dave.. But try not to be dragged in by the 1st one. As already mentioned, there are plenty of genuine fault free P38's around that have been looked after, it's ok the owner telling you the good bits, but equally any genuine person will tell u it's bad bits. I'd probably take this one...

P38 DSE leaking diesel + HEVAC fault

What year is the p38 mike? Are you paying over the odds? Book of doom on Hevac could mean either just needs re gasing for air con, or if the heaters are not blowing correctly, ie- 1 side cold & 1 side warm, this could be what's called the blend motor, which is a pig to sort.. Some of dashboard...
