Not sure about freelander, but when I blanked the egr on my vauxhall astra I used a bit of 1mm aluminium sheet and Blue instant engine gasket sealant. I've even seen some people make a blanking plate out of a coke can.

Huh, mines missing the hair curlers. Does have a lion bar storage though. And strange little cubby holes that are to small to feasibly be used for anything... is that where I'm supposed to put my fake nails to dry? :p

Simple! The freelander is the pretty boy of the landy family. The defenders and disco boys are jealous of its good looks so just assume it's gay! :D

I have the same issues with mine. Tried everything and no luck. Couple of drainage holes and some rubber grommets and sealant to stop it rusting. Job done. Alternatives are lots of expensive garage trips or a ball ache trying to change seals yourself. Or you can leave it and risk rotting out...
