How's it been running since?

Part of ongoing issues, when key is in ignition position just before cranking I can hear a loud hissing noise that appears to be down near alternator. Could it be the self priming fuel system? Would that then imply air getting into system overnight? It's the opposite side to FBH.

Even if been cranking a while?

Is it not strange that my air temp is so out?

And it was probably low temp as I had only run it for a few mins to get some readings so it wasn't at normal operating temp.

Thanks guys!! Is there a rpm I can take it to that you have readings for so I can compare them? Shouldn't the synergy provide a temp reading instead of the default value? Isn't that the point?

Task for this weekend is to clean the MAP sensor, manifold was de-clogged last year and a EGR bypass fitted. Any advice on cleaning the MAP?

I read on RoverRon's page about intercooler seals for the TD4. ROVER 75 MGZT SERVICING Where abouts are they and how do I check/change them? (Currently trying to diagnose problems on vehicle)

I'm currently trying to diagnose an ongoing issue with my facelift TD4, its the one with a lp pump and filter in the wheel arch. Does it have any sort of filter/strainer in the tank? If yes, how do I access it and clean or replace it?

The pipe that goes to the intercooler looks very difficult to access, particularly the jubilee clip. Looks like it was put on with the intercooler. Any suggestions on removing this?

Thanks for your help guys, in the end I have ordered some standard replacement pipes. The originals have lasted 100,000 miles, so they will outlast my ownership of it! LOL

But I believe there is also a pipe from the output of the intercooler that feeds into the Turbo, did you change that as well? (Looking from front of engine towards rear of car its part the way down the intercooler on the right hand side)

Did you also change the pipe that comes out of the intercooler into the turbo?

Does anyone know the internal diameter of the hoses for the turbo vacuum pipes?
