What did you do with your Range Rover today

Having gone balls-deep into the engine there's no way I would risk using head-bolts unless it was a scrapper. Or the camshaft one. Seems they put these bolts where they know you won't risk it!

P38 new problem with abs and traction fault

My ABS sensors go into a little mesh bush which sits almost flush with the hole. Is that a rubber bush on yours? Maybe the Thor was different.

    P38A Seats won't move

Yes but unless it has already been cloned to his car the keys won't work and neither will the EKA.

    P38A EAS question

Heights have to be within default ranges. They're on here somewhere. Height sensors should change values smoothly across the ranges too After that it seems if the target and actual are a long way apart across an axle it causes issues. Might be calibration has gone out for some reason. Blocks...

    P38 switched fuses

@pwood999 has a switch for his EAS, I believe.

    P38A Seats won't move

You'll need the highline BECM and then switch over the top board from the lowline one.

Not heard that. I thought any stretch boot could only be used once or it is past its Youngs Modulus?

P38 new problem with abs and traction fault

Might be worth a search or contact BBS and see if there is a glitch for the Thor model in the Nanocom screen. Diesel works as per GEMS but never tried Thor.

We do have mainland continental members but you are right in that they're more spread out.

    P38 dse engine disabled

Said engine disabled so thinking EKA has re-enabled itself somehow. Possibly RF interface caused volts to drop too low and BECM scrambled itself. Fob batteries definitely worth checking, although I have never changed mine and I have had the car well over a decade.

    water pump broken bolt

I think he means use the stub of the bolt with a bit of Loctite to seal the hole. Not my choice.

    water pump broken bolt

Personally I would replace the bolt. Why's this gone in a bold font?!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

He was but to be fair it has been very entertaining so far. Just done a 500 mile road trip in mine, mainly A roads, no motorways. Been faultless. I'd forgotten how beautiful the Purbeck Isle / peninsula is. Pity about the beer in Swanage. OK if you're a lager drinker. I ended up on cider.

P38 2.5 low on power, can't reach max rpm

+1 on Nanocom but it is possible to get that free BMW software to talk to the M51 engine, INPA? Something like INPA anyway. Stuart got it working on here somewhere.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

That might be thermostatic expansion valve. It prevents a full regas and when you run it it vents to atmosphere losing gas. Takes a month or two to get low enough to notice. Cost about £27 from an air con place 10 years or so ago. It is on the bulkhead. Probably costs £50 now the robbing so and...
