+1 on Nanocom but it is possible to get that free BMW software to talk to the M51 engine, INPA? Something like INPA anyway. Stuart got it working on here somewhere.

But beware the license expiry. Quite a few reviews on amazon saying it's cheaper to buy a new one than renew the license in the App !!
