hopefully going to the plain for some offroading in the near future, whats the deal with going there, is it basically a huge network of BOATs etc, and are there any places to play.

well once ive sold the jimny, bought some new muds, and a bit of protection etc ill be well up for it. may be able to get a few mates out as well.

really wish i could, but i reckon it will cost way over 100 for me, and thats nearly 2 new tyres :)

sadly its a bit far from devon for me, being a student i could justify the 80 quid it will cost just to get there and back, let alone the cost of the greenlaning lol. will have to wait till one alot closer :)

after looking under the bonnet earlier, trying to find the source of an oil leak. i decided the engine bay could do with a clean. whats the easiest/best way of doing this, i was thinking of just pressure washing it at a low temp, would this damage anything?

how easy is it to get the seal replaced?

looks like the defender could be costing me alot very soon, possible new gearbox and steering box, this really does suck.

just checked, there are two ridges on the dipstick, my oil level is at the first ridge, is this normal?

just checked the reservoir,and there appears to be half of the tank. should it be filled all the way to the top? if the steering box is shot, how much will a replacment cost?
