Help please! Need new tailgate glass.

Excuse the hijack. I've lost two, with the trim removed are they easy to get to and solder?

It’s official: the Land Rover Freelander is now a classic car

They do, 50+ year design. Always felt quite vulnerable in mine (now sold). Had my B for 14 years, wouldn't recommend one as a daily as they take a lot too look after. Lights are crap, brakes are crap, heaters are crap, fuel economy is crap, steering heavy. But you can get almost any part you...

Well here was me thinking I would get rid in a couple of years as there would be no support. Can't even get rear light seals for my ZT, suspension parts are getting difficult too. Oh well.

Cheers Steve, I see there's a lot of discussion tonight on the R40 sight about about the options now available re this, VT4 and TOAF? Having a foot in both camps this would be handy for me, apart form the fact I live within walking distance of an MG dealership though?

Just seen that, why no PayPal or CC option which would give buyers some sense of security? As an owner of both a ZT and Freelander this might be of interest to me, but not sure?

I can get some information via TorqPro and my phone app - engine temp is good, battery volts is another, will also clear the odd fault code.

Freelander 1 Missing rear tailgate trim

When you replace it reseal the fixing holes as they will leak at some time - probably just after you put it back together, I used plumbers mate. Also replaced the sticky tape, while you are at you will probably need to replace the fixing clips as well. Best of luck, did mine recently wouldn't...

What have you done to your Freelander today

MOT'd. New back box, old one was hanging off, new lower engine mounting. Think it's stopped clunking now.

    Freelander V6 Overheating

Comdek I admire your persistence and resilience, lesser men would have given up long before now. As a check; new pump, new thermostat not sure of what else you have changed? Given that all of the usual suspects have been checked and changed, it now remains to eliminate the impossible so that...

New Freelander owner having trouble with my VIS valve

Hi and welcome to the forum. Is it just the flap which has broken, motor ok? It may also pay for you to post your question in the Freelander section, gets more coverage there. PS. You found us then;)

Cracked the windscreen. Replacement being fitted on Thursday. Didn't half go with a bang, nothing showed initially, then a split appeared and extended.

Is the water you have used distilled and is the coolant OAT? Don't give up either.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Here's what it looked like behind the upper plastic trim and the metal fixing bracket: The rubber strip on the plastic trim had come adrift, I've bitten the bullet and ordered a new one: The metal bracket needs some attention: Think I've saved it though, will be replacing the plastic...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Replacing the rear door/roof trim. I'd sealed it with silicon about two years ago but it was starting to look quite tatty and as I'm feeling flush decided to remove and replace with new rather than just reseal it. Water was starting to seep past the silicon and on removal it was looking bad, so...
