PSCAN Diagnostic tool

Quite a few R40 MGZT members owners have bought this tool from Philip, works a treat and very handy tool to have in my opinion although there is a VT4 around now. But as always you can not beat the T4 for a comprehensive diagnostic exam on the Landrover.

They seem a bit too fussy how they get payment to me. I would be a little suspicious.

Just seen that, why no PayPal or CC option which would give buyers some sense of security? As an owner of both a ZT and Freelander this might be of interest to me, but not sure?

Cheers Steve, I see there's a lot of discussion tonight on the R40 sight about about the options now available re this, VT4 and TOAF? Having a foot in both camps this would be handy for me, apart form the fact I live within walking distance of an MG dealership though?

The problem with paypal is that we do not meet their criteria for "seller protection", there are so many terms and conditions attached to it. This means that basically anyone could pay for and receive a tool from us, and then quite a few months later claim the money back from Paypal and there is nothing that we would be able to do about it. For large companies to loose an occasional payment is probably no big deal but we are small and are margins are tight. I would have to increase prices to cover the paypal fees and the risks of unfair charge backs.
If you want one of these and the payment method is an issue contact me and I will even give you a call and we can have a chat about it.
You can even visit me in Ruislip and have a demo and pick up your unit yourself if you wish.
If there are any paypal experts on here who can tell me how to derisk this from my side then I'm all ears.

By the way VT4 and Toaf will not work on a Freelander. Toaf does not actually exist yet and they have not tested it on a FL, and VT4 will log into every ECU it can find on a 75 and check that it really is a 75, which will fail on a FL.

I have just been reading the paypal terms. I think that the main point is that I would have to raise prices by £5 to cover their fees. What do people think about that?
