Had this same problem on mine earlier this year, re-furbished caliper, new pads and disc and all good. Perhaps the same for the OP's motor?

The number plate light has decided to work when it wants to, have cleaned the contacts but no permanent joy. Replacements don't seem available is there a suitable replacement does anyone know? MOT due in a month..... Ta

Replaced the coolant bottle, got the hairline cracks around the filler neck along with evidence of coolant leaking. Second one in 24k miles hope this one lasts a bit longer.

That's what I was hoping, even with the replacement it still seemed to be taking a while spinning before it fired. Thanks for the reply.

As mentioned in the What Have You Done to your Freelander Thread, rather than clutter it up thought it best I start a dedicated one. I had the camshaft sensor fail on my V6 Freelander a couple of months back, had the code come up and it wouldn't start. Bought a replacement, cheap (I know)...

Well it looks as if my Camshaft sensor isn't going to last very long, took a while for it to fire today and the code has appeared again. Could someone let me know what the output volts should be on the loom connector please? V6 if that makes any difference. Ta.

First one was £20. Yup pays your money and breakdown. The new one was £40, OE ones are £120+ at Rimmers I see. Oh eck.

Went to start it yesterday and it wouldn't, would spin freely but not catch. Thankfully I have a reliable 1.8T ZT so jumped in that. Anyway got the TorqPro App on it and it came up with a dodgy camshaft sensor. Again. I replaced it just two months ago. Got one from the local motor factors...

Had the phone call one dreads, so had no choice. Could have tried the city's Landy dealer, would probably have had an even bigger bill and told they couldn't do it until a week next Christmas. Sometimes needs must. Annoying thing is a job I could have done myself. Oh well.

New pads, discs and O/S caliper. At Kwik-Fit. It was an emergency. They did a good job TBH. Got me out of the sticky stuff.

Computer says "no".

Any pointers on the cold air intake? Barmy how the air filter sits on top of the engine, warming up the air as it passes through.
