got a new job john,basicly delivering milk to the hospitals,but as it,s doncaster/sheffield and barnsley i start work at 2 am and finish about 2/3pm,so i am a bit knackered when i get home,so i havn,t really been on the computer much while im getting settled in to the job

if you can gav find an indi caravan service place,and take the fridge out and get them to service it,i had the same problems with mine in the first van we bought,and i paid £40 to get it serviced,the amount of crap that came out was unbeliveable,like the guy told me you get all the tiny insects...

when i did mine i drilled loads of holes in the bush and knocked it through with an old socket,to refit the new one a bit of copper grease and a bloody big vice,or take them off and get a garge to remove/refit,but make sure you support the car

that was me,mine was wobbling/vibrating,the 4x4 place i went to rebalanced 2 wheels,but had to remove and rotate the tyres on the other 2 wheels,it has been ok since,all the other places like kwik tit etc all said the tyres were knackered had flatspots and out of shape,thank god for a decent...

if you do a search for dsp amp you will find numerous posts about it,as it is an expensive and occuring fault,thats why i ripped all mine out

i had similar problems,in the end i took it to a 4x4 centre who have a state of the art wheel machine,2 wheels that kwik tit said ok were miles out and needed re balancing,the other 2 the tyre fitter marked the tyre with chalk using the tyre valve as a guide took the tyre of and rotated it...

if it,s the thor engine there are 2 one either side and have a 13mm bolt holding them on,if they are the plastic ones change them for steel other wise like irish said just replace the bearing

right here is the latest on this saga,after speaking to trading standards i informed the tyre place of my intentions,they then asked if i could take the car to them so there tyre fitter could have a look at them.this is the good bit. as they have a new state of the art wheel balancing...

i would worry about getting the thing to run first,and worry about the suspension later,

well imgoing to confirm this with trading standards tommorow,and then take things from there,so i will keep you all posted

well i had an interesting weekend,still got the wobbly vibrating steering issue at 50/60mph,so i had the tyres checked,turns out 3 of them have high spots on them,so after i found the receipt out as i knew they were only 10 months old,i checked the mileage as i wrote it down the day they were...

it sounds like your torque convertor isn,t fully engaged onto the pump on the shaft.there should be some slight back and forth movement approx 2mm if that it should also rotate freely,that way you can get them to line up. did you jam the torque convertor inplace though the round inspection...

the only true way to be sure is to remove the heads and see if any of the pistons look steam cleaned,if they are it,s a liner.don,t take a garages word for it as you might end up being fleeced,use someone who has a good rep if you can,t do it yourself.
