Sorted Removed the fuel sediment bowl and replaced it with an in line fuel filter, discos back going great guns again. Should i be looking to put another sidiment bowl back on or will my in line filter do the job?

I've got a great supply of it here when i need it, only thing is i havent tried using it yet, ive filtered about 15 litres through j-cloths and a fine mesh sieve. Think i'll let it settle a few days then sieve through cloths again. i'm assuming i can just pour it straight in my tank too??

Are you using SVO or WVO? Just been on vegetableoildiesel.co.uk - Powered by XMB Someone there reckons its fine but they're using a 2 tank system, dont know the effects of pouring filtered WVO direct into the diesel tank??

Right i've finally got some WVO from the local pub but just read on the container that it contains anti foaming agents E900. Can this still be used to run my Disco, im led to believe E900 is a silicone agent that will burn creating very fine sand particles that hopefully should cause no damage...

Tescos have done it again this time putting the price up on Grapeseed oil from 97p - £1.38 and soya oil from 80p - £1.19. Its becoming a struggle to find cheap SVO, how difficult is it to filter out WVO without any special equipment?

Anyone else using Soya oil from tescos? 80p pl, ive had no probs so far 75SVO/25DERV

How long does it take to do the clutch, i should add its not too bad at the moment only slight slipping but it will need done. The garage i called charges £42.50+vat per hour

Tesco's now doing soya oil for 80p per litre, anyone got any experience of running on this/is it possible, sure i read somewhere it was unadvised. It,s also got vitamin E added to it so surely it would make my disco healthy! :D :D :D

Just been quoted £370+vat for a new clutch and fitment! Anyone know how long it takes and what a reasonable price for fitting normally is? Clutch is only about £68 online

Just seen grapessed oil for 97p per litre in tesco's, does this do as good a job as the rapeseed oil? Sure i read somewhere that it was the best oil to use, anyone know?

Tescos have done it again! there own brand veg oil now risen from 98p per ltr to £1.17 per ltr. Surely wholesale cost have not risen that much?? Think im gonna report them for price fixing, after all they're already being investigated. Funny how the other supermarkets all charge the same.
