HI everyone . thanks for the advice.. spent all yesterday getting turbo of was well knackerd turbo very lose inside.. froze my nuts of as well.. but its getting there.. looking forward to rip up some of that snow...:D

that was the same thing as mine mate started it up next day all fine .so going to check out all the turbo and pipes first then will look at pump..thanks:)

will check that pipe for oil .. the engine was running ok when we got it back but only had it running for 5mins tho

i was going to put in a TDI but cash tight at moment just need a turbo too keep it going untill i can sort out a good engine for it and thanks LANDYOWNER for getting us home..

it needed some oil this week i check it each week and was surprised when the oil light flickerd.. and been a bit more smoky than the norm

i try the diesal injector cleaner and white spirit mate like you say wont make it worse thanks for tip.

ok have to put up with it for a while till crimbo is out of the way.:)

I give them a clean up and see how it go's do you know if it is a hard job to clean them up.

hi john mate . its white . the engine runs clear once it burns off that fuel after a couple of mile but when i leave work it has been sat for 12 hour it smokes like hell for about 2 mile then ok

i'm doing scotland in a couple of months time. in my 90 strecher bed over the passenger seat ammo boxs to level the back tryed it felt ok with 2 sleeping bags see how i go. dont know if i can find a dog in scotland but i know you can get crabs on the beach.! ha! ha!:p

it still might be that wire matey! mine didnt start a few month back and it was the wires to the starter lose and one was hangin off .mine smelt diesal we had a stacker truck towing it the lot .thort it was worse than them wires. shure ther is a spade connecter on that starter. worth a look...
