Well. an interesting fault. after about 10mins the LH headlight goes out. Dash display warns of this and i turn off and turn on the lights again and then all is fine for another 10 mins (approx). Any ideas? thanks...

By accident i have a petrol V8.... I now don't want the diesel.

This is the Jag V8 and not the BMW V8. I prefer the BMW V8, but I am biased... Looks quite nice but really be careful. Dirty under bonnet..

A friend of mine in a BMW with the same engine (ish) removed the rear box on put straight through pipes in its place. Sounds great but surely must not comply to MOT? Tow bar? Use proper plug and play kit. fits in OS rear wing. easy to do.

Fully Agree with Saint. I loved our p38 but it was always a worry. Now my mate has it, it has not gone wrong once. The L322 is super. I fully support the BMW era V8...but again as St has advised keep your eyes open and ensure everything works. I keep a fund to ensure I tick the bigger...

if you tow a long way (100miles +) then RR for sure. Less distance than that, I'd go Land rover 110 300tdi. cheap as chips..

well. I truly think the p38 is on the rise. however this is purchase/selling price. the price of ownership will still outstrip any vehicle value increase. have what you want if you can and enjoy my P38 is so much more reliable now my mate owns it than it ever was when I had it!!! best wishes.

wil. i am now ready for a set of Pirelli tyres for the RR 255/60 20. The problem is they offer a few in this size.. Can you recommend which I should go for? It needs to be great as a winter car. so need max wet/snow traction and quiet..... your view is greatly appreciated. many thanks.
