I have used a farm jack to get off a tree stump wedged under the truck, ( not me driving, honest ) ground was a bit soft and was able to get enough height to free us. But i always make sure i got and escape route when using it !

Evening. Just to add to the list of insurance cost. Defender 90 lifted and roll cage and over size tyres. £240 with my 25yr old son on it. Classic insurance with 3000 miles max. 9yrs ncd. is 3rd car.

Found a better anti theft device !!!!!! Took the engine out and put it near the house so can hear if anyone tries to start it. Only problem is a quick dash to the shops takes a little longer than it used to. :)

ok, thanks for your quick reply tottot. i took off the stalk and had a look at it, all seemed in order, did notice that i could not pull the spade connectors off the indicator connections , didn't want to force them, wonder now if they where melted on. will have a look tomorrow. Thanks

I use an spare inner tube off a small trailer to supply air to easybleed, works a treat.
