I couldn;t believe someone would fit an engine without a fuel filter. The RR 3.5 V8 has a number of bodges in the fuel line, so time to rethink this as well. I got a number of the diesel CAV fuel filters, can you run petrol though these filters or should I just get an inline filter?

All it has is a chassis number and lots of spare parts which could be stripped and then bin the chassis. Where should te vin plate be on a airportable? Can't compare it to my current one as it has a modified bulkhead for the RR gearbox. But I would have thought inside riveted to the bulkhead.
