after my td5 was crunching into 4th recently...today as I was gearing down...starting to get to low revs..there was a horrible rotating rumbling...quite loud and abrasive..still selecting gears ok and no noise at higher revs..can anyone shed some light on to what it may be...I have searched and...

ive just got a 97 range rover 4.0 v8 se with lpg...167000 miles but history to 150...drives very well however a couple of niggles...has slight oil leak...ive cleaned everywhere I can get my hands to and it seems to be from around or above the oil filter but nothing visible when looking down...
