What have you done to your Landie today.

That’s a good bodge last ages can’t see it taking any weight if it’s just a sensor. I had mine out a week ago on 10 mile bumpy off road, noticed the vacuum and washer bottle shaken off its corroded mounts on inner wing, so I cut up last of left over floor plate to reinforce inner wing and bonded...

Are the individual sections of linkages moving smoothly without stickiness, you would need to disconnect them to test though

Series 3 Problems already with new landy.

Perhaps a split in pick up pipe and when you went uphill this allowed it to suck in air

Divide 250ft/pounds by your weight in pounds which will give to the length of bar in feet to stand on , if bar a bit longer just use tape to measure length where to stand Maybe do the final torque over the 210 when you know everything works and it don’t need to come off again

    Oil bath filter color

On the last pic you can see the original colour blue I took all the paint off down to steel , then primed and coloured , mine is an 84 series 3 and had the blue as original on my pastel green landy

    Oil bath filter color

I refurbed mine recently, just happened to have a tin of blue enamel boat paint in garage, used cup wheel on outside, few costs of primer and this paint went on beautiful, colour match close enough for me

    Brakes a bleeding nightmare

Good. Not be selling now 😀, At least you’re on the road again, but I bet the garage did not do anything you could not have done yourself! getting brakes working properly is a very common problem on here , lots have issues, but patience needed to look at everything methodically, In the recent...

    Brakes a bleeding nightmare

I just back off the locknuts push the rod towards MC then move nuts so it’s nipped without free play then back off the nut nearest MC 1.6mm by eye move rod back away from MC then nip far nut up , hopefully make sense looking at diagram. You should bleed the brakes with adjusters backed off I’ve...

    Brakes a bleeding nightmare

That’s a shame, sometimes you just need to have a cup of tea and cool down , that’s all part of the learning process, did you get the required clearance in the master cylinder pushrod and brake adjusters not binding can’t think what else would lock the brakes
