Series 2 rebuild which has a 200 tdi engine, Just about ready to fit new clutch , Please forgive me but I know there will be an Obvious answer to this but I do not know.
The old clutch I took out in first pic did not look to bad but has been stood in there for 10 to 12 years or more so going to order new. Anyway when I separated engine from box was expecting to see the ordinary gearbox as was on the last Series 3 rebuild I done with clutch fork etc, But it seems I have a series 2 gearbox with the slave cylinder on the side. No clutch Fork, Now the question is why did someone put the Series 3 Pressure plate in there ? the Clutch plate is 9.5 inches So which clutch kit do I order ?

Think you will have to stay with the 9.5 due to flywheel location pins.
With old landy's one often just does not know what others have done in the past.
2a diesel models do have 9.5 unit.

Thanks, do you think I should use one of these ? God knows how that other one worked, but I suspect it was fitted then sat in the rolling chassis and probably never tried https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/571228-clutch-pressure-assy-series-2a-1969-71.html
