Is is better to drive in snow and ice than 2 wheel drive but if ya dont slow down early enough then ya just gona keep sliding, 4x4 or no 4x4;)

Funny ya say that, just discovered a nice big hole in the boot floor, plenty of time to learn how to weld before MOT though.:) As for pics i'll stick some when i find camera but its just ya average Disco 1 really.

Well picked up my disco today and am well chuffed, drives like its done half the miles (got 191000 on clock). A couple of niggly faults but nout that wont take a few min to fix. Oh and i somehow managed to bust the rear door latch when i got home so cant get in the boot:rolleyes:, oh well...

They just told me £32, ya've been ripped off:eek:

Thats true, hoping it'll make a fair difference next time round. Although i dont think £392 is too bad considering i struggle to insure ya average car for that.

Well, i'm checking out a disco on sunday so if all goes well should be a proud new owner shortly. Now, where'd i put me toolbox?:D

Noob from east yorks here looking to own my first LR. Spent many a fun hour ragging 90's and 110's round army ranges (more fun when you aint got to pay to fix em:D) and finally in a position to get one. Came on here for a bit of info and advice. Probably looking for a cheap Disco as the missus...
