Thanks guys and range roller people do get mixed up with this if the key won't turn its the steering wheel module not the switch just unplug it after taking the column cover and the key will turn if its locked... I have made the mistake before... Loads of videos on you tube

hi guys FINAL update on the L322 3.0td6 not starting.. she is FIXED took me 40 mintues after the checks so this is what i did in order.. 1. checked all fuses (all fine) 2. checked all the earths i could get to (inculeding relays behind batt) 3. checked the battary voltage....drop test (fine) 4...

Hi guys thanks for the replys found a thread saying (turn key to crank position and hold for 3 seconds then try and start) tried this today and it fires every time but what does this mean?? No click from the starter just fires up as normal...

as for checking the starter wire can i just put a tester to the cables from underneath??

i will do tomorrow is it common for the starter to go just like that???

thanks guys not checked the battery voltage yet i know that they dont like to be under 12.3v at all but it just seems strange that it worked fine yesterday and not today??

hi guys got a big problem my l322 3.0td6 2005 will not start it started a few days ago were you had to turn the key twice for it to start but now nothing at all... i have power and the key turns with no problem all the lights come on as normal then when turned to start nothing... i have read...

how did you get on with that...... my batt drains after 3 days but when working fine my FBH does smoke alot .... i am thinking about pulling the fuse...... only because the car carnt last 3 days without a start/run.....and thr FBH smokes like a **** at least three times once its running .....

thanks for that mate i have looked at the RAVE and it is not clear on what to use.. niether is the hand book...as daft as that sounds... i know bits about oil etc but not sure changing to il that can deal with the extra 10.C is worth it lolo_O

hi guys i have a 2005 3.0td6 154000 miles on her i have always used castrol 5-30w oil.. its been for a plug in at a local land rover specialist (first time). and they said they belive it should be running on 5-40w made by morris oils... they dont stock it so dont think they trying to up sell...

kds.... is right its the ecu box and does have a small fan in it but should not run for more than 20 mins....
