OK, so I cleaned the air temp sensor and checked the hoses for damage, all is OK but the problem didn't go away. I tried to disconnect the MAF sensor and took a short drive and still the same problem. any other things I can do? this is driving me mad!!! :mad::mad:

Ohh and no the vehicle is not blowing any smoke when I put my foot down.

OK, I will try and look for problems in the hoses, anything in particular? is there something that usually happens to them like holes or disconnections?

I need to replace my left Track rod. should it be genuine or not? the price is half so.... also where in the UK is the best place to buy ? i have this link - Land Rover 90-110 & Defender Track Rod at www.rimmerbros.co.uk - but if anyone knows a better place i'll be happy to know.
