I have not been wading. But when I first got it I gave it a good service and topped up oils. So I guess by doing that it was low befote with the brow being old oil and the black being new oil ?. I will strip it down and see what I got. Thanks Bonzo.

Thanks I have new shoes and brake cylinders to go on all the way round. As you can see on the pic these brakes on this wheel are fairly new apart from the oil. When I check the Haynes manual it does not mention hub seal. Is it another name ? I have replaced the axle breather. Thanks Bonzo

Went to overhaul the brakes today and found on the front passenger side black oil on the shoes and bownish oil on the centre as per picture. Any advice on what is going on would be appeciated.

Yes got a multi meter but have not used in much Not sure of the type boughy from the 4X4 shop in swansea it has 2 connectors on the back. Thanks Bonzo

Finally got around to fitting the Voltage regulator but the Petrol Gauge still not working. I did,nt take it for a run to check the temp gauge. I fitted a new one from Bearmach and one of the connectors felt loose. Do you think I got a duff one and any tests I could do to see if the VR is...

Forgot series 111

I have gone topless. The top and sides + rear door are available if anyone wants to pick up. The roof has 2 holes in the for a light bar I sealed them with nut & washers and ok. I have the fixings etc.

I have had my Series 111 for a few months now and have carried out a number of jobs and it rus very well. I am now going to start on the dash clocks. I have the following problems and my qustion is it a single problem or individual problems. But first the things which are working. All warning...

Brake cylinders are ok and looks newish the pipes are ok as well. The leak seems to be coming from behind the brakes back plate. Will try and post a pic. I am also going to check the rears in the morning. Thanks Tony
