the one i saw was item no. 150757555601. but with so many think i should speak to dvla because a company has offered 2 1/2k for the cherished plates so if i can tax without mot this will more than fund the rest of the resto! and hopefully get proper age plates into the bargain!

Has anyone out there heard of MOT exemption for a fixed crane Landy? I am currently restoring a 1958 series 2 and being nosey I have just seen one similar on ebay, and the seller is saying iit is MOT exemp due to having a fixed crane???

reason for warning on freelander is mixed tyres screw up the viscous unit. dont think its such a big deal on disco as long as all same size

noo dont take engine out! i did a search on here and there was a link that showed how to change clutch didnt even drop box fully just sat on cross member whole job done in a morning with basic tools and a trolley jack on my own! sorry im computer illiterate or id put the link on here!

thats what happened to my wifes last month with same symptoms! if you unbolt the slave cyl the rod should stick out if not probably the fork.
