I will start by replacing the plenum chamber feed pipe, which I think is causing the leak, give it a good clean and monitor the situation. I found this drawing on landyzone, I think it is pipe number 8 that is leaking. Please could somebody with a parts catalogue tell me the part number? Thank you

I think you guys are right about the hose. I have found some more coolant in places above where the gasket would be. Is the hose that needs replacing the one in blue? In green are areas of where there is coolant residue. The one at the back is beneath the air intake, where there is quite a bit...

Right, it is coolant. Wiped it with a white cloth and appeared red-ish plus black gunk from dirt. Head gasket on its way out do you think? I will probably give it a good clean and monitor it. I have never noticed the engine to be over-heating, no white smoke.

I will do some more investigation tomorrow and report back.

Hi guys, finally got the P38 off its bump stops thanks to Kurt! :) There seems to be a pool of fuel here, any ideas what the fault could be? One bank of the cylinders seems greasy whereas the other side is clean an dry. The car sounds as though it might be missing a cylinder. It is a 4.0v8 Thanks

Does anyone have this manual in PDF please? STC9021CC Parts Catalogue 1987-2006. I have the older one from retroanaconda, but some of the part numbers aren´t quite right. e.g. I am looking for the two front door bottom seals...ninety and oneten it is ALR6250... is that also right for Defender TD5?
