    Personally,i would look on a breakers yard for an old classic car,they are well made switches,not like todays rubbish.

    Does'nt matter about mpg,it's a land rover.I made some serious cut backs to run mine,stopped smoking and drinking.I feel mutch healthier and happier,especially when fueling up my landy.

    The steering wheel i got has 4 horn buttons,one each corner of the wheel,and the horn wires ar there already,so i will make it fit.

    I think Not many welders would want to take that big job on.It's time consuming.I would buy a cheap mig welder,have a few hours practice and its easy enough to do yourself.Theres plenty on here to give you support and advice.If i was near i would help a bit.Good luck finding someone to do it.

    Bought a nice steering wheel and boss off ebay.I think its for a 200 tdi it's no air bag.Mine is a 96 300 tdi with air bag,but i would like to put the steering wheel on my 96 disco.Will it fit,and if it fits what about the air bag regarding the srs light and mot.cheers.

    Just bought a disco,no tax.Now it' nearly march,if i tax it tomorrow will it be legal to drive it home,or will i have to wait for 1st march.cheers. PS, Got insurance, mot,and green slip ready to tax it.

    Clutch again.

    Clutch just went straight down to the floor,no clangs or noise just lost all preasure.There was no fluid in the master cylender but no signes of fluid leak.So i just decided to replace it and the slave cylender for piece of mind if anything.

    eezy bleed worked great,but pedal solid,won,t work the clutch.Looks like am gonna have to pay out to get it fixed.Or is there something i can try.

    Fitted a brand new clutch master cylender and a brand new slave cylender,it still will not bleed,Got a mate to pump the pedal by hand,i undid the nipple 1/2 a turn and nothing.Not even air,so i left it open with my finger over the nipple,nothing comes out.What do i do next please.

    replaced clutch slave cylender today,never done one before.All i need to know is, When i removed the old one, the push rod remained in situe as it should,but when i push and pull the pushrod by hand,there seems to be some play and it feels very loose.Is it supposed to be like that.Thanks in advance.

    Got the pin in,Easy peasy,took off clutch master cylender,pushed pedel down to floor,super glued the pin head to an 8 inch long piece of metal coat hanger,plenty room to put the master cylender in place,and manipulate the pin so it pushes back throu the pedal,same with retaining clip,glued it to...
