have fitted same battery and works well also built my own split charge system from a link on here ?? cost next to nothing to make and fit and works my spots and 1300lb winch/also cb a treat mate maybe worth a looky to see if could make your own split charge system same as mine :lol::lol:

even with latest update the snap on solus wont do full range on l/rovers or range rovers and yes ratty is about 500 - 600 quid a update

have you checked output from alt ?? belt could be ok but altenator could be u/s ?? should be putting out about 14.2 v @ tickover ? or there abouts with no load on it ? (about 13.5V with headlights on dipped ) what is output ? hope that helps ??

would say is altenator mate possiably a diode in pack on rear gone down so wont be charging at full rate and /or not at a stable rate ?? would advise check charging rate and say run for at least 5/10 mins if show ok to check isnt dropping after running for a bit as had this and rate was fine...

why not use spade connectors ?? does same job and can be made to look tidy if you take care when doing them ??

normally same as indicator one but not 100 % sure mate as what you need to know ?? dont say on what or what your problem is ?? or ever where your to ??:confused::confused:

had same problem and found the fix was easy mate , dry joint in ecu , took it out re soldered it and all been ok for nearly a year now . so maybe easier and quicker to do same fix ??? think fix is on here if not pm me and will look it up for you as think still have print out in book of...

has any one had a "script warning" message pop up only seems to be on here ?? have tried a few other sites but only seem to get warning "pop up " box appear on here ?? is it a common fault ??:confused::confused:

sounds like a urgent look to see if wiring is damaged thus causing a short on ign switch mate , need to get it sorted asap also could be worn shroud on one wire shorting to a earth on coloum so needs to be replaced ??? hope that helps you but wouldnt drive till sorted or may have big burn out...

more than likely you were taking more power out of battery than alt was putting in so therefore would dim lights ?? would also advise to get output on alt checked as could be sign that you have a "lazy" altenator ?? or battery on way out ?? you dont really say what your landy is ??

I had same problem and then remembered they have removable packers did you check they were at narrow setting ?? know may sound stupid but done this as wel then seen they could be un clipped to make fitt in to tray better ??? hope that helps :)

Halfords should stock a calcium battery to fit a td5 as have fitted one in for a member not long back just need to ask them which one is listed for that model sorry cant be more help mate
