I must say that I thought that the tow bar was standard until 4.6 arrived, which doesn't have the fittings. My 4.0 has the removable tow bar and electrics fitted, but the 4.6 doesn't even have the electrics. Dealer option ?????

When you run the compressor, it charges the pressure reservoire. To raise the vehicle enough pressure has to be in the reservoire AND you need to shut all the doors and boot, or else it will never raise. Have a look on Rangerovers.net at the faults and fixes area, it's full of really useful...

Have you noticed it dropping over night or anything prior to the hard fault? It's all very well resetting the fault but you need to fix the problem, or it will just fault again.

I'm on the Blackbox site now looking, but there are so many and I'm not sure which one I need. I notice that there is a 20% off discount at the mo as well.

I must say that I'm swayed toward a Rovacom or similar, as I would be able to deal with other faults such as HEVAC and the like. I'll have another look at Blackbox's web site, at least I should get whatever I order tax free. I'll keep you posted.
