I have started getting small electric shocks of my P38 4.0 SE lately, and the battery seems to go flat within a couple of hours. The shocks are like static but a bit more harsh. Any ideas where to start looking or how I can track down the shorting?

I've noticed that if the switch is accross to the drivers side, the passenger one doesn't move, but when it's the other way, they both dip :confused::confused::confused: Ah well it's another one of those P38 quirks that we all love I suppose.

Yeah it's odd Gav but not a big problem, just a pain in the butt that's all. As you say it works fine on the rocker switch.

As they should, my door mirrors dip when I put her into reverse, but only the drivers one will return to normal afterward. Any ideas why the passenger one won't? It's not a problem just a pain in the arse to have to move it back with the direction rocker.

Alternatively, Overfinch do them.

Hi Kev Not that I am aware of as the motors need to be forced through their full range of movement to calibrate them, which can't be done with the buttons as the motors will only move through what they think is the full movement. It needs software to make sure they move fully.

Have a look at fuses 8 and 17 under the bonnet, the workshop manual states they these would cause either only hot or only cold air if they are blown. As you have had thre Blend Motors replaced it's probably not these. I take it the motors were calibrated after they were done???
