Finally got time today to have a look and it was the cable pulled off the lever, so a quick fix, on the downside I've found a bit more rust !.

I've got a battery from performancebatteries.co.uk its a CTI1000, the same size as a 644 but is a 1000CCA, its a no maintenance one with 4 yrs warranty , I've got 2 on my tractors and both are over 5 yrs old.

My heater demist or blow it on the floor leaver moves up and down ok but doesn't do anything it stays on demist , ok for the summer but now needing heat on the floor, where does the cable end up , I'm presuming that it's come adrift at the heater box wherever that is ?.
